Janice began drawing at age five and continued her explorations in various media. Her award-winning photography appears in galleries, private collections and publications throughout the United States, the British Isles and Mexico. She seeks to involve others in the magic of the moment. “I believe personal life experience, attitude, and outlook affect how people perceive art. People view art to inform themselves, to be entertained or to achieve a certain emotion or level of spirituality.”
My vision of nature is reflected in my photography. When my art is viewed in this fast paced world, the viewer is brought to a moment of reflection awakening their senses. Their imagination enables them to hear the crunch of aspen leaves, feel the wind’s caress or the cold embrace of water. I cannot help but celebrate this powerful and moving world that God created.”

Sonia Narang “Lifestyles” The Voice, Lonetree, CO 2003 …photographs in Hill’s show are like portals into a natural, serene world. Hill creates dazzling compositions. Her eyes…seem to scope out simple, yet quite moving scenes. Her wildlife photos preserve the raw, untamed character of the animals… Her ability to focus on details and accent the purity of nature is apparent in her artwork.
Mark Arnest, “ Arts and Stage” The Gazette, CO Springs, CO May 2004, “Hill’s photographs are notable for their amazing color saturation… The sense of history is especially strong…”
